Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant director of communications (2009–2011) and the spokesperson for the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki was later named the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Psaki also worked as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012 as the press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. In the year 2000, Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. [20] She was hired by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. She was appointed Communications Director in the White House and continued to perform this role until the end in 2015.
