Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4, 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian, actress, and writer. O'Hara has won numerous awards which include an award called a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018 she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she won the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara first became known as an actress in 1974 as a member of The Second City in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy in the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). She received the attention of critics both for her acting and writing skills, and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
