Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn, born on August 19, 1965 is an American actress. She is also a producer and director. Her most well-known role is her part as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. After the seventh season Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The show ended on August 13 on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for an Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's films roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003).
